If you arrived at this website by searching for Wolf Hoffmann and music, then you have found him. Yes, this is Wolf Hoffmann, guitarist for ACCEPT, who played on all of their albums since 1979 (12 studio albums, several live albums and DVDs) and sold millions of copies worldwide. Only this site is not about music. It is about photography, which is what he has been doing since 1996 when the band 'retired'.

Based in Nashville, Wolf is a professional photographer who does commercial, advertising, editorial, music and corporate photography. He also specializes in executive and environmental portraits. Wolf brings the same professional attitude and passion that made him a world-class guitar player to each and every photo shoot he does.

As a native of Germany, Wolf still maintains a residence in Berlin and continues to travel the globe, whether on photo assignment or on world tour with ACCEPT as he did in 2005 playing once more for audiences of 80,000.

Wolf in his own words:

“ I have always had a thing for photography. Well, at least for a long time. In my late teens and early twenties, we started touring the world. Touring can be exciting but also very boring with many hours to fill between shows. Any touring musician will tell you that. So while visiting all of these exciting new countries and places, I began taking pictures. It all started there. One thing lead to another, and I was shooting all the time…buying more lenses, bigger cameras, etc. Before I knew it, I had a huge darkroom in my house, a wooden 4x5 camera and wanted to be Ansel Adams. All the while, I was playing arena shows in front of Metal crowds. So when we finally called it quits, it was a natural transition to pick up photography as a creative medium instead. To me, the two are closely related. It’s just another form of artistic expression. I am looking for the same elements of harmony or emotion in a photograph as I do when writing metal riffs. I know it sounds weird, but that’s how I feel about it. While it’s hard to describe, it’s a gut feeling.. Anyhow, here are galleries of my most recent work and shots from previous assignments. Enjoy, come back often. Rock On, Wolf ”
